Ruben and Jenn have been serving the Lord in León, Spain, with a shared desire to see the church strengthened through the faithful teaching of God’s Word. Ruben earned his M.Div. (2011) and Th.M. (2013) from The Master's Seminary, where he was trained in expository preaching and pastoral ministry. Over the years, the Lord has graciously prepared him through both formal theological education and hands-on ministry experience in Spain, as well as through pastoral mentorship connected to Grace Community Church.
Since their marriage on May 15, 2010, Ruben and Jenn have labored together in ministry, seeking to honor Christ in both church and home. The Lord has blessed them with four children, and Jenn faithfully serves their family while supporting the work of ministry in countless ways behind the scenes.
In León, Ruben serves as Academic Dean and Professor at the Berea Bible Seminary, where his primary focus is to train and equip men for pastoral ministry through the careful exposition of Scripture. His burden is to see biblically qualified men raised up to shepherd local churches across Spain, a country where there remains a great need for doctrinally sound and faithfully led congregations.
In this present season, the family has temporarily relocated to Phoenix, AZ to pursue specialized medical care for their daughter, Eden. While this has brought significant challenges, the Lord has graciously allowed Ruben to continue his ministry responsibilities by traveling periodically to Spain to teach and serve at the seminary. Through it all, they are trusting in the Lord’s providence and timing, with the hope of returning to Spain and resuming their ministry there more fully once Eden has recovered.
