We all experience seasons when we struggle with personal sin, the effects of another person’s sin(s), or the trials of life, and are in need of true help and hope, which biblical counseling can certainly provide.
Through the Biblical Soul Care ministry, we desire to come alongside you during this time. We endeavor to lovingly care for you and help carry your burdens (Gal 6:1-2; James 1:2-5), as we help you seek out the truths of God’s transforming Word that address your current issues of life, so that you can rely on the empowering indwelling Spirit of Christ to bring true help and lasting hope, and God-willing change that pleases God.
If you are unable to seek out counseling at Calvary Bible Church, but need help finding a biblical counselor in your area, please refer to the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors, the International Association of Biblical Counselors, or the Biblical Counseling Coalition.

Who is eligible to receive counseling?
Any individual or couple who is already a regular attender or member of Calvary Bible Church
We highly encourage involvement in a WiFi small group by the 3rd session, which further facilitates the effectiveness of biblical Soul Care.
What can you expect from us?
We are not licensed counselors, therapists, psychiatrists or psychologists. We are trained biblical counselors Our counsel is based solely on God’s Word, which is sufficient to handle any issue of life
What do we expect from you while in counseling?
- Your time and flexibility to keep counseling appointments.
- Be in or join a WiFi small group.
- Attend weekly services.
- Complete weekly projects for growth.
- Serve or begin serving at Calvary Bible Church.
How Do I Get Help (for those already in a small group)?
Share your concerns, problems, pain, etc. with your WiFi small group leaders. Your leaders may be able to give you the counsel you need to see healing, change, and victory.
If your small group leaders feel they need help in caring for you, with your permission, they should consult with the Biblical Soul Care ministry on how to provide you with further help and hope.
If still more help is needed, you will have the opportunity to receive biblical discipleship-counseling from one of our trained and certified counselors.

We understand that it may be difficult for you to take the first step. However, we believe that this first step can be a step toward healing, reconciliation, and peace. So take courage and make the step.
