This exposition investigates the dramatic events leading up to Jesus’ betrayal, scenes that offer a mere sample of the far more dramatic events that will take place on Thursday and Friday of the Passion Week. Special consideration is given to the significance of the sacred Passover, and contrasts are made regarding the satanic plot, the selfless sacrifice and the selfish betrayal.
